ComEd appliance recycling program
ComEd and JACO Environmental have teamed up to offer this unique program designed to save energy and help the environment. You must be a ComEd residential delivery services customer and your appliance must meet ComEd qualifications.
Benefits:
With this in mind, it doesn’t make sense to hold on to it, especially when ComEd will:
* Have it hauled away for free.
* Pay you $25 per appliance.
* Dispose of it responsibly—dismantling it and recycling its parts in an environmentally responsible way.
* Pick up and recycle your old working room air conditioners along with your refrigerator or freezer.
Program funding is limited. Participation will be on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted.
