For this video, we have a free kid’s ice sensory play idea! Take toys you already have and freeze them in water. Give the kids a spoon and let them chisel out the toy from the ice. You can do individual toys in a bag or put a bunch together in a bowl. Kids will love getting their toys out and experimenting with different tools and methods. Play this year-round, outdoors, or even inside in a bath during the cold months. This ice sensory play idea gives kids playtime while also helping them use problem-solving skills and a little bit of scientific experimentation. The best part about this sensory play idea is that it’s free!

DIY Cloud Dough Recipe – 3 Ingredient Homemade Play Doh

This is a super easy, homemade play doh recipe! Known as cloud dough, this DIY play dough only has 3 ingredients. A 2:1 ratio of cornstarch and lotion will give you an awesome (and good smelling) homemade cloud dough. This is a fun one to have the kids involved in the making process as well. This is great as a kids craft idea, boredom buster, inside, or outside play doh. #kidscrafts #clouddough #diykids #kidscrafts #crafts #art

Recipe:

1 cup of cornstarch
1/2 cup of lotion
Desired food coloring

You can make as much or as little homemade play doh as you like as long as you have a 1:2 ratio of cornstarch and lotion. I’ve seen other recipes for cloud dough use conditioner but I like lotion the best!

Leprechaun Footprints – Find a Leprechaun Clue Ideas

We used these adorable stickers in our garage and on our patio to help the kids try and find the leprechaun! They led out to the yard where all the treasures above were hidden.
