The next installment of Orange Dot First Fridays, the growing SSA program that celebrates small businesses that maintain the character of Wicker Park & Bucktown (WPB), is set for Friday, June 6th (participant & event info follows below). On the first Friday of every month from 5:00 pm until 10:00pm, the best in local design, dining & culture craft and collaborate to create unique presentations not found anywhere but Orange Dot in WPB. June’s edition of Orange Dot consists of 28 total participants in the neighborhood.

Local artists and art is the centerpiece of Orange Dot First Fridays. Galleries, studios, & arts venues feature installations, performances, & exhibitions from emerging artists to recall the neighborhood’s eclectic roots. WPB is defined and sustained by creative minds and eclectic small businesses. Orange Dot First Fridays showcases the artists and enterprises that give WPB its reputation.

Some of WPB’s most popular shops & designers will also host the retail experiences of the month, every month. At Orange Dot, people can find the latest styles, trunk shows from select fashion houses, recently unearthed vinyl, & curiosities from all ends of the earth. And because participating businesses are open late, attendees won’t even need to rush dinner and drinks.

Bars and restaurants are taking part, as well. WPB’s renowned culinary destinations will delight the senses with food & drink exclusive to Orange Dot. Fine cheeses, wines, & delicacies are presented alongside live music, guest chefs, and unparalleled neighborhood collaborations each month.

The WPB neighborhood is presenting a truly unique evening to Chicago on the first Friday of each month, every month, as only WPB can. Forget painting the town red – paint it Orange!
