Taco Joint Urban Taqueria and Cantina will make entertaining on Super Bowl Sunday an easy affair with “Tailgate Tacos” to-go. Simply call the Lincoln Park location (River North location opening soon) by Saturday, February 2 and place an order for boxes of tacos to-go. The tacos are prepared and packaged in D.I.Y fashion, including homemade tortillas, choice of meat, salsa and garnish plus chips and salsa – all arranged in separate containers. This compact and convenient solution is a delicious way to step away from the stove and enjoy your own Super Bowl soiree. Tacos to-go must be ordered by the dozen (boxes of 12 are $30; boxes of 24 are $55) and the taco type may change per dozen. Choose from: barbacoa; cochinita; al pastor; tinga; and rajas (outlined below). To-go orders may be picked up anytime on February 3 (Super Bowl game time is 5:30 p.m. central).
