Celebrate St. Valentine’s Day with a date, or gather a group for a fun evening out at La Madia in River North. Chef Jonathan Fox’s Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu will be offered on Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15 from 3:30 p.m. to midnight. The multicourse meal, served family-style, features the choice of appetizer, seasonal salad, Neapolitan-inspired pizza, and housemade pasta or risotto, as well as a flute of prosecco to start and chocolate truffles to finish. The complete menu is outlined below.

$6 Pizzas and $6 Wine Selections

This October, La Madia will celebrate six successful years of serving contemporary pizzas and thoughtful, Italian cuisine in River North. In honor of this accomplishment, Chef/Proprietor Jonathan Fox will offer $6 Neapolitan-inspired pizzas (regularly $12-$17) during lunch service from Monday, September 30 to Sunday, November 3.

Chef Fox’s $6 pizza selections, which will rotate weekly, include: Housemade Lamb Sausage with Fresno Peppers, Caciocavallo Cheese and Mint Pesto;Seasonal Wild Mushrooms and Smoked Mozzarella; Slagel Farm Wood Smoked Pork Belly with Tuscan Kale, Garlic, Caramelized Onion and Caciocavallo Cheese; Triple Pepperoni with Tomato Sauce and Mozzarella Cheese, finished with White Truffle Oil; Clam and Fresno Chilies, Pecorino, Garlic and Fresh Thyme. Pair your $6 pizza with a $6 glass of wine. La Madia’s ongoing “wine of the week” special offers guests a red or white glass pour for $6 (wines change weekly). The restaurant’s extensive wine list boasts 75 selections by the glass and over 300 by the bottle.

Chef Fox Features a Five Course Menu for Two

Thursday, February 14 – Saturday, February 16
$35 per person

La Madia will welcome couples celebrating Valentine’s Day with an optional five course, sharing menu for two. From Thursday, February 14 to Saturday, February 16, parties of two may create their own prix-fixe by selecting each course from La Madia’s menu (choose any starter, salad, pizza and pasta dish) for $35 per person. The meal will conclude with homemade chocolate truffles. Executive Chef/proprietor Jonathan Fox will also offer a la carte pizza and pasta specials, along with the regular dinner menu.

Pair your Valentine’s Day cuisine with vino from La Madia’s extensive wine list. In addition to more than 75 selections by the glass and over 300 bottles, chef Fox also offers a red and white “Wine of the Week” for $6 each, along with a “Sommelier Selection” glass pour for $9.
