Kicking off the 2014 fest season is the annual Do-Division Street Fest & Sidewalk Sale.  This signature Chicago street fest pits great shopping, live music and family entertainment together under the summer sun.  Spanning a lengthy 10-city blocks, this year’s bash features the Family Fun Fest, a Do-Fashion section, a multi-block sidewalk sale, and great food, crafts and artisans – highlighted by some of the best live music of fest season (band lineups TBA).  Music critics and fans alike typically rate the lineup among the best of the music fest season – and at only a fraction of the price ($5) compared to the other top guns.  The bottom line: Do-Division Street Fest gives the estimated 70,000-plus attendees each year a taste of what makes West Division (aka, “Do-Division”) one of the hottest destination corridors in Chicago!

The popular Vintage Garage Chicago will continue Uptown for a 3rd season. If you’re unfamiliar with Vintage Garage Chicago, it’s a “drive-in” flea market that’s helped bring life to a cool stretch of Broadway in Uptown. We’d love for you to join us for Chicago’s only all vintage monthly event!

To kick off the season, bicyclists dressed in vintage garb will gather April 27th at the Garage at Foster and Broadway for the annual Vintage Style Ride.

The Palm Court, long famed for introducing the nation’s next big jazz artist, will now bring back America’s most beloved entertainment: motion picture classics from the early to mid 20th century. Names that resonate through generations like Charlie Chaplin, Alfred Hitchcock, and Audrey Hepburn will once again return to Chicago for Movie Mondays at The Drake Hotel. Fall back in time with a 40’s themed cocktail while gazing at Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell in “His Girl Friday” January 13th or sip on a gin sour while watching Frank Capra’s suspense filled “Meet John Doe” with Gary Cooper and Barbara Stanwyck.

Films will be shown biweekly, the second and fourth Monday of every month.
