This Mother’s Day, show mom how special she is by offering her an authentic Italian dining experience in the heart of charming Lincoln Square.  Due Lire Vino & Cucina will open early on Sunday, May 13 and offer a three course, prix fixe menu for $35 per person, as well as the regular dinner menu, from 12:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.  Executive Chef Kevin Abshire’s Mother’s Day menu includes choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert, with such selections as: fennel and carrot soup with mascarpone cheese; homemade pappardelle with duck ragu, fava beans and pecorino cheese; cherry hazelnut tart with cardamom black pepper gelato.

Croccantino di Pistacchio – caramelized pistachio mousse with a shot of hot espresso
