Izabela Sloma and Janet Lee Mandell would like to invite you to Pearl Tavern Bourbon & Oysters celebration of the 142nd annual Kentucky Derby. Starting at 3:30pm and going until 6:00pm on Saturday, May 7th, at Pearl Tavern located at 180 N. Wacker, this event is benefiting the #CraveCCC campaign for the Chicago Children’s Choir.

Place your predicitons on who will be taking home the win while spending the day filled with bourbon tastings, complimentary mint juleps, and small bites. Enjoy live coverage of the “fastest two minutes in sports” from anywhere in the room.

Derby party attire is required. Show off your inner southern fashion with over-the-top hats and seer sucker suits! Award for best hat, most dapper gentleman and best dressed couple will be award after the races!

South Water Kitchen is celebrating Kentucky Derby weekend in style this year by awarding guests who don a festive hat (no, baseball caps don’t count!) with a free Flatbread appetizer for their table, whipped up by Executive Chef Roger Waysok. Limit one per table. The restaurant will also keep the pony party going with $7 Signature Mint Juleps and additional Kentucky bourbon-based specialty cocktails at the bar. Both specials will be available all day Saturday and Sunday, May 5-6.
