Located on North Avenue Beach, Castaways will open to the public this Memorial Day weekend with live entertainment Saturday through Monday and will serve lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (weather permitting). Menu items include fresh salads, wraps, sandwiches, and quesadillas accompanied by frozen cocktails and even Corona in a can. You’ll also find a daily line-up of music and DJs all weekend long.

The Wicker Park Irish sports bar opens at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 26 (regularly open at 4 p.m.) and offers all-day deals including $4 select drafts, including the May beer of the month, New Belgium Summer Helles.

Holiday food specials include $5 Certified Angus Beef burgers, $5 housemade beer brats, $7 signature Certified Angus Beef burgers and $7 house-smoked pulled pork, brisket or pulled chicken sandwiches (all with choice of side).
