FREE dinner With CLMA Italian Bites Outside Belmont Red Line

WHAT: Central Lakeview Merchants Association will host Italian Bites during the month of May. Local Italian restaurants will provide Italian favorites from 5pm – 7pm outside the Wilton & Belmont EL stop (Belmont – Red, Purple, Brown Line) on May 15th, 22nd and 29th. CLMA reps will be handing out complimentary dinner that includes pasta, pizza, beef sandwiches and desserts.

The Vintage Garage invites all to come celebrate the wonders of Mid Century Modern by attending the popular Vintage Garage May 18th from 10 to 5. Vendors have been saving their best Mid Century for the show and for those who aren’t into MCM there will be a great mix of vintage in all categories ready to go!

 

This vintage, antiques and collectibles extravaganza takes place at the Vintage Garage, 5051 N. Broadway, Chicago on the 3rd Sunday of each month through October. Vintage lovers will also enjoy the area’s great “Little Asia” area for great restaurants as well as Andersonville for more vintage shopping. Easy access from the Red Line at Argyle.

Chef Michael Dean Reynolds has created a 6-piece Cheese & Charcuterie plate to pair perfect with an amazing Sixpoint beer flight. The flight of four includes Mad Scientist Lichtenhainer (smoked Berlinerwiess), Mad Scientist Brunswick Mumme (high gravity export ale from Germany), Apollo (Bavarian Kristalweizen) and Seison (urban farmhouse ale). The flight with the pairings is $35.

May 20th: Tuesday Tasting Menu
Every Tuesday, Chef Michael Dean Reynolds pulls together a delicious 3-course tasting menu using the freshest ingredients—and this Tuesday during CCBW is no different. For $30, guests can enjoy a 3-course meal with suggested Sixpoint brew pairings. A rep from Sixpoint will be on hand to chat and answer questions.
