The Vintage Garage invites all to come celebrate the wonders of Mid Century Modern by attending the popular Vintage Garage May 18th from 10 to 5. Vendors have been saving their best Mid Century for the show and for those who aren’t into MCM there will be a great mix of vintage in all categories ready to go!

This vintage, antiques and collectibles extravaganza takes place at the Vintage Garage, 5051 N. Broadway, Chicago on the 3rd Sunday of each month through October. Vintage lovers will also enjoy the area’s great “Little Asia” area for great restaurants as well as Andersonville for more vintage shopping. Easy access from the Red Line at Argyle.

IIIย Forks, located in Lakeshore East, now welcomes guests to the fabulousย rooftop lounge forย stunning scenery, refreshing cocktails, sharable plates, top-notch steaks and seafood. Executive Chef Billy Caruso has created a newย menuย for the season, available exclusively on theย rooftop.

Menu highlights include:ย Local Cheese and Charcuterie; Lamb Meatballs; Fried Brussels Sprouts; daily selection of Crudo; Steak Tartar; Texas-sized Lobster Tail; New England Lobster Roll; St. Louis Wild Boar Ribs; Dunn Burger; USDA Prime Bone In Ribeye; Filet Mignon and more. The fullย menuย is outlined below.

Signature cocktails, hand-selected wine and craft brews may also be enjoyed outdoors on the roof. Win Tickets to the American Beer Classic at Soldier Field

Thursday, May 8
5-7 p.m.

The Franklin Tap will hold a Two Brothers Brewing Company (Warrenville, IL) beer tasting event on Thursday, May 8. Brewery representative Paul Wonak will be on site to discuss the featured beer: Pale Frank, a custom brew made exclusively for Franklin Tap; Sidekick; Dog Days; and White Monarch. Samples of the beers will be provided and Wonak will mingle with participants from 5 to 7 p.m.

Full size pours of the four brews will be $5 (11 a.m.-midnight). For every Two Brothers draft purchased, a raffle ticket will be given for a chance to win two tickets to the American Beer Classic at Soldier Field on Saturday, May 10. The raffle will be held at 7 p.m.

Franklin Tap will offer a free round-trip shuttle to and from Soldier Field for the American Beer Classic on Saturday, May 10 (VIP and Session One). The shuttle will begin at 11:30 a.m.
