Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Hosting a party? We’ve got your green punch recipes covered! As part of our DIY Holiday + Party Kit series, we’re giving you our favorite St. Paddy’s Day punch recipes for both kids and adults.

Choose your liquor – champagne, vodka or whiskey – and check out the recipes below!

Green Punch:

Ingredients

2 (1/4 ounce) packages lemon-lime Kool-Aid (powdered mix)
2 cups sugar
1 (46 ounce) can or jug of pineapple juice
1 quart of cold water
1 (2 liter) bottles ginger ale
*2 Bottles of champagne for the adut version*

Directions

Chill liquid ingredients
In a large punch bowl, mix the drink mix, sugar, pineapple juice and water (this makes A LOT of punch, depending on your punch bowl you can also split the batch and refill as needed)
Add ginger ale
*Add champagne to the adult version*

Instructions:

All items are combined in a shaker then strained into a flute, then topped with champagne.

– 1/2 oz. strawberry liqueur

Cherry Crush
2 Parts ABSOLUT KURANT 2 Dashes Lime Juice 1 Part Cherry Puree 2 Whole Cherry

Instructions:
Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Shake and strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with cherry.

A Passionate Affair

1 1/2 parts GREY GOOSE® L’Orange Flavored Vodka
1 1/2 parts cranberry juice
1/2 part passion fruit
6 raspberries
1 tsp sugar syrup
1/2 part fresh lime juice

Instructions:

In a cocktail shaker, mix the seeds and pulp from half a passion fruit. Add the
other ingredients with plenty of ice and shake hard. Strain through a fine sieve into
a martini glass and garnish with raspberries.

Tips:
Experiment with limes from different parts of the world and notice how the flavor
of the drink changes in subtle ways.

Femme Fatale

1 3/4 part Grey Goose Original

1/3 Gancia Americano

1/3 part lychee juice

1/2 part raspberry puree

1/3 part Chambord

1/2 part lemon juice

2 drops of Rose water

Instructions:

Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with cubed ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a rocks glass filled with cubed ice. Serve with a black rose.

Franklin Tap will hold a Goose Island “Meet and Greet” sampling event on Thursday, January 23. From 5-7 p.m., guests will meet Goose Island representatives and try some of the brewery’s newest and most innovative beers. Brewery ambassadors will chat about what it’s like to be at the forefront of Chicago’s craft beer scene, while sampling one of their latest efforts, Ten Hills Pale Ale, among others. The event is free to attend.

“Meet and Greet” Featured Goose Island Beers

Lolita
Lolita is a pink rose colored Belgian style pale ale fermented with wild yeast and aged on raspberries in wine barrels. Aromas of fresh raspberries, bright jammy fruit flavors and crisp, refreshing body make Lolita ideal for beer drinkers fond of Belgian Framboise.

Leisure Suit 
Leisure Suit is a well-balanced beer with  aromas of papaya, guava, pear and fresh bread. It combines a single-heritage barley variety with #576, an experimental hop that has never been used commercially.

Ten Hills Pale Ale
With hops from the “first ten hills” grown for Goose Island at Elk Mountain Farms in Idaho, we crafted a pale ale that delivers both a herbal and citrus hop character. We hope you’ll find the intriguing balance of flavors in this beer to be truly unparalleled.

Kisetsu
Our version of an experimental Sake Saision is an ale with Köji and sake yeast producing a hybrid beer like nothing Goose Island has done before.

While America is celebrating the biggest day in football with the NFL Big Game, Sedgwick’s will also be honoring a favorite food holiday, ‘National Tater Tot Day,’ with a tots buffet in addition to game day specials.

Tater Tot Mountain Buffet
Sedgwicks’ famous Tater Tot Mountain is literally overloaded with bacon, queso and sour cream, but on National Tater Tot Day, diners can order an overflowing plate of the golden fried potato nuggets ($8) and create their own mountain of a masterpiece. Tot lovers can head to the endless toppings bar with not just the usual accompaniments but also pulled pork, chili, buffalo chicken, guacamole, salsa, jalapenos and more to create the perfect game-watching concoction.
